A hike to the Namobuddha Stupa in Nepal

My guide, Kiren and I hiked the 15 miles from Dhulikhel to Panauti in Nepal. We climbed up to the Namobuddha monastery on the top of a mountain and down to the stupa beneath it. When we arrived at the monastery, the monks were chanting, banging drums, and blowing horns! I turned on my voice recorder inside their small Buddhist temple and it provides the soundtrack to this movie.
